Ratio 5 years warranty

We proudly offer this (limited) warranty for the Ratio Six and Ratio Eight coffee makers.

WHAT IS COVERED BY THE GUARANTEE?

Ratio LLC warrants Ratio Eight and Six coffee machines for 5 years, from the original date of purchase, against defects in materials and workmanship. If during this period your Ratio Eight or Six coffee machine is found to be defective after our inspection, we will repair or replace your coffee machine. These are the exclusive and only remedies available under this warranty.

THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

Our warranty does not apply to product failures resulting from:
– Mineral build-up in tank and lines (due to failure to “descale”)
– Use of improper or unregulated electrical voltage or power supply
– Misuse or abuse (including accidental damage to unit or glass parts)
– Improperly performed maintenance or repairs
– Normal wear and tear
– Professional use

HOW TO GET WARRANTY SERVICE

If your coffee machine needs warranty service, please contact us at info@ratiocoffee.se or by filling out our warranty form in the Warranty and Service section of our website. This includes providing the serial number of your coffee machine and proof of purchase to establish the date of sale. If you cannot provide proof of purchase, your 5-year warranty period will run from the date of our first sale of the coffee machine on our records.

Do not send your coffee machine to us without a return authorization. You are responsible for shipping costs to return the coffee machine to us. Returned coffee machines must be shipped in proper packaging and sent with insurance for loss or damage, as we are not responsible for products lost or damaged in transit. We are happy to help with the shipping note, please ask us about it in that case.

Once we receive your coffee machine, if we determine that the device is covered under warranty, we will repair or replace your coffee machine based on our assessment. If we determine that your device requires cleaning only, or requires repairs due to any of the excluded conditions above, we will contact you and offer to service your device for a fixed cost, or return your device without repair.

Replaced or repaired units will be covered by the same 5-year warranty period dating back to the date of purchase of the original product.
