The Ratio coffee maker does not have a hot plate, to prevent the coffee from burning. Instead, the thermos keeps the coffee hot for hours. Also comes with a unique heat shield, for an even hotter cup of coffee. Perfect for those who use a lot of milk in their coffee. The shield can easily be put on and taken off.

The Ratio Six coffee maker is built with thick, precision-punched stainless steel with a with a white, matte stainless or matte black finish.
With hand-blown laboratory-grade borosilicate glass tubes.
BPA-free copolymer water tank with water markings from 2 to 8 cups, with an accuracy of 30 ml. The tank holds 1.3 liters of water at full mark, approximately 10% of that volume absorbed into the coffee grounds. 1.3 liters poured into the water tank should yield about 1.25 liters of brewing coffee.
